According to AI:
“The overall average sentiment based on all the top posts was approximately 0.053 for April, which is slightly positive. This suggests that, on average, the top posts have a generally positive tone. This positive sentiment could reflect a community that, despite individual variances in post sentiments, tends to share or engage with content that has a more optimistic or supportive undertone.”
That one surprised me.
We’re perceived as a negative group while our information has a different story, or maybe I’m just experiencing it differently. Either way, April was an interesting month.

General Profile of the Average User in April:
- New Members: Each day in April, approximately 37.4 individuals joined the group. This high joining rate suggests that new users were attracted to the group, possibly due to specific events, content, or promotions happening at that time.
- Engagement in Posting or Commenting: On average, each day saw 185.47 users either posting or commenting. This relatively high number compared to other months indicates that users were not just passively browsing but actively engaging with the content.
- Views: Each user contributed to an average daily total of 5,252.2 views. This high level of viewing activity suggests that the content was compelling and that users were regularly checking the group for updates or new posts.
- Content Creation (Posts): There were about 24.57 posts per day on average. While it’s unclear how many individual users contributed to this number, it shows a healthy level of content generation, which is key to sustained engagement and interaction.
- Comments and Reactions:
- Comments: Users on average were involved in creating around 425.6 comments daily. This is indicative of active discussions and interactions within posts, suggesting a community that is engaged and conversational.
- Reactions: The average daily reactions stood at 1,326.13. This high number of reactions demonstrates that users were responsive to the content, frequently liking, loving, or otherwise reacting to posts, further indicating a high level of engagement.
Most Viewed Content

April compared to March:
- Joined: Each week of April saw higher numbers of new members joining the community compared to March, suggesting either ongoing promotional efforts or events that successfully attracted new users.
- Posts: There is a clear increase in the number of posts each week in April, indicating that users were more engaged and perhaps there were more topics or incentives to post.
- Comments: Similar to posts, comments were consistently higher in April, aligning with the increased content creation and possibly more interactive discussions.
- Reactions: The number of reactions spiked along with posts and comments, showing that not only were there more posts and comments, but they were engaging enough to elicit reactions from the community.
- Viewed: Viewing activity also shows an increase, particularly in the later weeks of April, which might reflect the cumulative effect of all other increased activities leading to more content being consumed.
The overall trends suggest that the community was significantly more active in April, with consistent week-over-week growth in all key engagement metrics. This could be due to a variety of factors including seasonal effects, targeted campaigns, or a generally growing interest in the community’s theme or offerings.

Last month we acknowledged that growth would make managing expectations much harder as bottlenecks began to form around the limits of a skeleton crew. That was definitely experienced in April. Fortunately we found one new moderator (Braeden) who answered our previous plea for help.
So here’s another one:
